Request Visa Invitation Jun 9, 2026 Request a Visa Invitation Letter if required by the presenting author and any co-authors attending RAMS in person
Submit Draft Paper and Presentation Jul 31, 2026 Submit draft paper and presentation, should be 80 to 90% complete, in IEEE RAMS format
Incorporate Comments Aug thru Sep, 2026 Reviewers will send comments in August, reply that you received them
Submit Final Paper and Presentation Sep 30, 2026 All comments incorporated, correctly formatted for IEEE publication
Submit IEEE Copyright Oct 3, 2026 The copyright is required to have your paper published in IEEE Xplore
Register for RAMS Oct 20, 2026 The presenting author should register for RAMS by this date to obtain the early bird rate and to help ensure your paper is included in the Program!
Reserve your Room ! Dec 31, 2026 It is never too early to make your hotel reservation, reserve before they are sold out!

Author Tips and Notes (Due dates apply to tutorials and “presentation only” as well)

  • Print this to do list and keep it close by as you develop your presentation and paper
  • Download “Tips for a Good Paper” and the Manuscript (paper) template. Read it twice!
  • While we use the word “Draft” for your first submittal the end of July, it should be in the correct IEEE format, technically sound, grammatically correct, and ready for review
  • RAMS assigns a Program Vice Chair to you who will stay in close contact especially during the months of August and September as you finalize your paper and presentation
  • Review recent RAMS proceedings to see the level of quality expected, it is also a good time to gather your references too. If this is your first time developing a paper, let your Vice Chair know, they can send you a few examples of papers.
  • Finally, if you have checked all the boxes, we look forward to seeing you at RAMS 2027!
